Tactical Functional Training App Supports Health, Wellbeing of Police Officers

Verona, Wisc… Innocorp has released a mobility and wellness mobile device application called Tactical Functional Training® (TFT) to support law enforcement officers seeking to reduce exposure to injury on the job and maintain their health and wellness.

Designed as a mobile learning and wellness support system accessible via an app, TFT zeroes in on helping officers maintain their physical mobility and fitness level throughout their career. TFT helps active-duty officers reduce on-the-job injuries such as those in the lower back, shoulders, hips, and ankles through a series of movements specifically designed to increase mobility. It offers expert nutritional information in addition to these movements in short video vignettes geared specifically to situations and stressors commonly encountered by law enforcement officers.

“A significant part of our customer base is law enforcement. We recognize the incredible stresses law enforcement encounters daily, especially in these times. To help address the impact these strains have on officer wellness, Innocorp decided to add a health and wellness program to its product offerings specifically designed for law enforcement.” says Michael Aguilar, Innocorp’s president and CEO.

An easily accessible app, TFT gives officers control over something that too easily can fall by the wayside when dealing with their high-stress job: maintaining personal health. By using TFT, officers will not only maintain their best physical selves, but will become more productive in their work and personal lives.

Innocorp develops and manufactures impairment education and awareness products, including Fatal Vision® Alcohol Impairment Simulation Goggles, SIDNE®, and intoxiclock®, Since its inception almost 20 years ago, the Verona, Wisc.-based company has supported safety education programs like those in police departments, post-secondary schools, high schools, the military, and many civic and community organizations in more than 100 countries.
